Under the implementation of the “Life4LV” project and the mSensis’ collaboration with the Laboratory of Experimental Ophthalmology of A.U.Th., the Department of Medicine successfully participated in the 22nd Congress of the European Association for Vision and Eye Research (22nd EVER Congress) which was held in the city of Nis, France between October 17-19, 2019. The representatives of the department (Almpanidou S., Almaliotis D., Labiris G., Karamitopoulos L., Topouzis F., Dardavesis T., Karampatakis V.) made an appearance with their presentation entitled: “Design of a novel low vision questionnaire to evaluate the quality of life and independence”.

This conference brings together a wide range of researchers and renowned professors in the field of ophthalmology and research, members of the global scientific community, as it has global reputation and international outreach.

During the three-day conference, new scientific approaches and various aspects related to eye and vision research were presented, which will positively contribute to the development of the ophthalmology branch both nationally and globally.
