The Department of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki successfully participated in the 54th Panhellenic Ophthalmological Conference, held on 16-18 September 2021, at the Valis Conference Center, Agria, Volos. The representatives of the department Stavroula Albanidou, Diamantis Almaliotis, Eleni P. Papadopoulou, Vassilios Karabatakis were present with their presentation entitled: "Recent therapeutic developments in Aging - Macular degeneration: Use of mesenchymal" and "Newer therapeutic approaches in Melancholic Retinopathy and Polyneuropathy".
This conference brings together a wealth of researchers and renowned professors in the field of ophthalmology and ophthalmic research from around the world scientific community.
