Under the implementation of the “Life4LV” project and the mSensis’ collaboration with the Laboratory of Experimental Ophthalmology of A.U.Th., the last-mentioned successfully participated in the 33rd International Conference of HSIOIRS (Hellenic Society of Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery) which was held, in combination with the 23rd Winter Conference of ESCRS on February 15-17, 2019 at MEGARO International Conference Center in Athens. The representatives of the university (Almaliotis D., Almpanidou S., supervisor Prof. Karampatakis V.) made an appearance with their presentation entitled: “Color Perception in Patients with Ocular Diseases Leading to Low Vision)”.

This conference brings together a large number of researchers and renowned professors in the field of ophthalmology and research, members of the global scientific community.

During the three-day conference, new scientific approaches and various aspects related to eye and vision research were presented (basic, clinical and translational), which will positively contribute to the development of the ophthalmology branch both nationally and globally.
