Under the implementation of the “Life4LV” project and the mSensis’ collaboration with the Laboratory of Experimental Ophthalmology, the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Department of Medicine and the Laboratory of Experimental Ophthalmology of the A.U.Th., under the auspices of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Ministry of Health, held a very successful event entitled “New Therapeutic Approaches: Hope and Prospect for People with Low Vision”, which attracted large numbers of people and raised the awareness of the general public.

The event took place on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at the Old School of Philosophy Ceremony Hall at 8.00 pm. with keynote speaker the Professor of Ophthalmology Mr. Vassilios Karampatakis. The workshop provided answers to key issues and introduced a series of new therapeutic approaches that are designed to assist people with low vision.
